Missing mom

It's been a month since my mom passed away last month. The loneliness still there, the memory is still fresh. Still questioning why, what ifs.

Life has been though since then... Still need adjustment. My conscious mind knows I need to move on yet it's not as easy as that. To make it worse, I'm in the middle of vacation yet unable to enjoy it even a bit...

My feeling right know is like rollercoaster. I laugh, I cry... Huffffff it's really tough... She's the most important person in my life. Now, I felt lost because I don't have no place to go to when I need justification in my life.

Love you mom, love you always... Why you have to leave me this early, but I'm sure that now you are in better place without pain and sadness.

Missing melbourne, Living Jakarta

My mid year holiday are coming. As u can read from my previous blog, my holiday plans are pretty dull which make me kinda miss melbourne. I bet the weather is cold and drinking hot coffee or hot chocolate at koko black will be nice since it's winter there.

I'm going there soon (after i graduate and save enough money to go there). haha.

Nevertheless, Jakarta is not so bad, aside from the crowded traffic and very hot weather that will easily ruin your make up.

Jakarta Big sale is coming!!!! *yessss* Watch out your expense (especially for you, girls). Besides that, Jakarta fair has started (really wants to go there, but not really want to drive back and forth to KEMAYORAN because the traffic there is super crowded!!)

MONAS (it's have no relation with monash university, of course) is abbreviation of MONUMEN NASIONAL (national monument). on the top of it, there's a bronze flame coated with gold foil (nice...)

Thinking about traffic jam in Jakarta makes me feel nausea and headache. Sometimes makes me want to travel with public transport like train or TransJakarta yet safety reasons and many other reasons makes me rethink to do that :-(

my not-so little orange fellow, METROMIN. Metro means CITY and MINI means SMALL

METROMINI = SMALL CITY (??)

If I'm not mistaken, PEMPROV DKI jakarta make regulation that METROMINI (as you know as oranges-medium size buses which blow pollution everywhere) has to have AIR CONDITIONER (haha, seriously). In my opinion, such regulation is not really effective because then the fee for such public transport will be increase and is not cost effective for general public, am I right????

My not-so-called-Holiday's plan

Hi... it's been a while since the last time i update my blog

my clinical rotation for this year had finished, i finished my research so i have like 2 months holiday!!!

MY HOLIDAY PLAN

1. watching old movie

love love love old movie, so far i've watch Breakfast at tiffany's (1961), my fair lady and singing in the rain.

although the way the movie end was not what I expected but still Audrey style was TIMELESS. From those three movie I recommend Singing in the rain!! (good ending, feel good movie)

what other movie should i watch, any suggestion??

2. SHOPPING!!!!! (right, girls)

Hahahahaha...

3. Studying (so help me God)

I'm not kidding. I'm going to have BIG DEPARTMENT ROTATION (not a department store rotation) next year. Those are: SURGERY, internal medicine, PEDIATRIC, community medicine.

I have to be prepared for those departments, coz i want finished my med-school ASAP (yeah)

4. Elective program

Seriously I need this elective program, otherwise i will waste all my holiday time with less useful activity (without any intention of being nerdy)

5. Gym

Umm.... I don't really think that I'm going to accomplished this one, but still I have a will then there must be a way (somewhere...)

So far, that's all plans that I have. Not really exciting huh...
